Cat-shaped sculpture in raku ceramic.
Our ceramics were designed and worked entirely by hand without the use of molds by artisans who have been working in this sector for twenty years.
Each piece is unrepeatable for color and shape and for the uniqueness created by firing with the Raku technique.
Raku is a technique of Japanese origin that uses all the elements of nature: earth, air, fire and water. The object is shaped on the lathe and subsequently modeled with a semi-refractory white clay that resists temperature changes up to 980°. After the first firing it is decorated with enamels, lustres and fired a second time in a gas oven up to around 1000°. Once it has reached this temperature it is removed from the incandescent oven and placed in metal containers containing leaves and then in water to cool it. quickly.
NOTE. Each piece is handmade from scratch and differs slightly from the one in the photo in shape and color, guaranteeing the originality of the product.
